Siniawan, Bau to have Police Museum

The old Siniawan Police Station, will be converted into the Bau’s first Police Museum.  It will later be known as the Siniawan Police Museum.

According to The Borneo Post, the Sarawak government had already approved the allocation of RM6 million to convert the current police station into a police museum.

The station itself is considered an important landmark as was built more than 100 years ago.

The layout plan of the museum shows the museum showcasing information on Sarawak and Bau history, the police force under the Brooke, Japanese, British and Malaysia, and a gallery of Sarawak under Japanese occupation.

This will make this particular Bau located Police museum quite an interesting place to visit.
