Kuching Beats Canberra, Ranks 42nd In ICCA

Kuching made history as it was listed 42nd for the first time in the International Convention & Congress Association (ICCA) Asia Pacific & Middle East city ranking, sharing 42nd spot with Nara and Guangzhou.

Kuching also beat better known cities like Australia’s Canberra and India’s Bangalore in listing. The world class Borneo Convention Centre (BCCK) was mentioned as one of the many reasons why Kuching is now gaining popularity in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), and hence Kuching’s first ever ranking in the ICCA.
