Batu Kawa Riverbank Park’s Phase 3 to be ready by CNY 2024
Facilities for skate boarding, pickle ball, pétanque, table tennis and basketball to be available
Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian has announced that the phase three of the Batu Kawa Riverbank Park will be completed before the coming Chinese New Year celebrations if the weather continues to be favourable towards construction.
This year’s Chinese New Year celebrations falls on February 10th, 2024.
Dr Sim on his Facebook account said that the third phase will connect phase one and phase four of the Batu Kawa Riverbank Park.
In addition, recreational facilities for skate boarding, pickle ball, pétanque, table tennis, and 3×3 basketball would also be ready when the third phase is completed and open for use.
Also built in the third phase is a bus and car parks, with a staircase connecting the shops on the nearby hill.
The park is a five phase recreational development in Batu Kawa which is gaining popularity among locals due to its variety of facilities and landscape.
It houses the tallest ‘window’ structure in Batu Kawa and is a great place for exercising and jogging.
