Borneo Cultures Museum tickets available online
Sales currently exclusive on museum's and Sarawak government website
Tickets visit the Borneo Cultures Museum will be now available online from December 1, 2023.
This comes as the management of the museum try to reduce the long queues at the ticketing counter when visitors want to visit the museum.
According to The Borneo Post, the announcement of the new ticketing system was made by Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who the paper quoted as saying had received complaints in regards to the long queues for tickets at the museum.
Payment for the online tickets can be made using online banking system, credit card or SPay Global e-wallet.
Rates differ accroding to your residency status, as seen in the ticketing price below.
According to the news article, online tickets are available for purchase at the Sarawak Museum Department (JMS) and the Sarawak government website.
It is worth to note that my personal checks on both websites as of 7.45PM, on 30 November 2023 do not show any direct links to buy Borneo Cultures Museum online tickets just yet. Maybe it will only be revealed on December 1st.
Borneo Cultures Museum added a notice on December 1, 2023 which links to the purchase site on the Sarawak Government website. To purchase the tickets, one needs to use their Sarawak ID.
