The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, better known as BCCK, and its expansion, BCCK 2, is a dedicated building built to host Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) events in Kuching.
To date, it is largest convention centre in Kuching and Sarawak and offers world class facilities for MICE events, as well as concerts and weddings.
Aside from being a preferred place for MICE events, BCCK is also popular among locals for hosting their annual Ramadan Buffets.
In August 2022, the Sarawak Government announced that it was planning to build a new convention centre, which was later known as the expansion of BCCK.
In 2023, the expansion was formally called BCCK 2.

BCCK 2 will be designed by Kirk Studio with the landmark project set to become the world’s largest single-floor timber structures, at 15,500 m² under-roof with a clear span of 42metres.
The project will include a luxury hotel, a tropical rainforest plaza, cascading gardens, river promenade, and 10,000 seat arena, while still maintaining it’s world-class function facilities.
BCCK 2’s design resembles the seed of the Belian tree with the expansion built on a sprawling waterfront site overlooking the Sarawak River, just adjacent to the current Convention Centre.
Once completed, the BCCK will likely be the biggest indoor convention centre in Borneo.
