Eating in Kuching

Aroma Cafe, Kuching

This little gem is located within walking distance from the Kuching City centre and takes pride to be one of the earlier establishments that offer a selected number of popular Dayak food on their menu.

Muslims in particular will be pleased to know that Aroma Cafe is one of the few establishments that offer authentic halal Dayak food, certified halal by the local Muslim authorities.

The halal certificate however does limit the number of Dayak food servings as most Dayak food contains pork, something which Aroma Cafe can’t serve if they wanted to retain their halal status.

Portion of food is good, and prices are generally considered affordable. The restaurant is clean and free WiFi is available for free.

Those not wanting to eat Dayak food can also choose to order other Western, Malay and Chinese dishes as Aroma Cafe does also offer them.
