Popular shopping mall, tHe Spring Mall Kuching today announced that their brand-new space on the Second Floor of the mall is now officially open.
The mall in a social media posting shared that they are still doing some finishing touches to the area, but said that mall guest can explore the new setting.
One of the biggest additions to the mall is a visable escalator access to the second floor, allowing mall guest to easily go up to the newly renovated space.
Previously, the second floor used to house a cafe, children’s playground as well as several retail shops.
Aside from those stores, the second floor also houses a cinema.
To get to the second floor, one would need seek escalators, lifts and stairs which are largely hidden from the centre of the mall.
The new layout therefore provides better access to the second floor, hence likely to liven up the floor which is like the ‘entertainment centre’ of the mall.
In case you have not been to tHe Spring Mall Kuching lately, it has changed quite significantly with the mall announcing major changes in the mall in February 2024.
Among the noticeable changes include the expansion of Uniqlo which now is on-par in terms of size with the ones in Mid-Valley Megamall.
In addition, the fountain has also been replaced with a hang out area, and a few stores have been relocated to new locations.
This area was furnished with chairs and had kiosk as well.
Also, more space had also been created for new tenants like Gigi Coffee and Comfort Sole, with tHe Spring Kuching confirming that Japanese brand MUJI will be opening on the first floor of thier mall.
