The Sarawak General Hospital will soon have the long awaited multi-storey car park it needs as plans have been announced to construct the said car park this coming July, with the contractor of the project in the last phase of designing.

According to Utusan Borneo, the car park would have 1,650 parking bays which excludes the ones available nearby the constructed multi-storey car park.

Collectively, the total number of parking bays added by this new facility would be 2,000, and is expected to help ease parking woes experienced by those visiting the biggest public hospital in Sarawak.

Community leaders have in the past lobbied vigorously to get such facility available at the well visited hospital, and such announcement will definitely be received with much joy by many.
