Kuching Festival 2016 begins
The 28th Kuching City Day began yesterday with the launching of the ever popular Kuching Festival at the grounds of the Kuching South Municipal Council (MBKS) building.
Attended by Pehin Sri Taib Mahmud, the Head of State of Sarawak, the event was a colourful one with performances and an impressive display of fireworks.
The Kuching Festival is an annual event which is famed for featuring new and innovative food in the city. The festival, easily dubbed Kuching’s biggest food fest would see food traders take up stalls to sell their best meals.
Aside from food, patrons of the festival would also get to buy other things ranging from electrical goods, clothing and so much more.
The festival which started on the 29st of July will go on until 21st August 2016.
