RM10 million for infrastructure development projects in Sadong Jaya has been allocated with plans to build a community sports complex costing RM3 million also revealed this week.

So far, there has been little information on the sports complex, but it was made known that the request was made by representatives of the area.

Last year some RM5 million was spent on ‘Projek Mesra Rakyat (PMR)’, RM1.5 million for projects under ‘Projek Penyelenggaraan Awam (PIA)’ and ‘Projek Infrastruktur Asas (PIAS), RM3 million was spent for road connection projects and RM6 million for roads in villages.

A ‘Pasar Tani Semera’ would also be built at RM350,000, while the government has a;ready funded the 1.5-kilometre Batang Sadong bridge costing RM231 million.
