The proposed Pan Borneo Highway will be a super highway with lesser or no traffic lights.

According to news reports, the highway would see see junctions which are now having traffic lights replace with other alternatives like bypass and underpass.

The move will incur more allocation surely, but the federal government has promised that it would not be a problem.

The Pan Borneo Highway is the biggest infrastructure project in Malaysian Borneo and it is expected to link the tip of Sarawak (Lundu) to Lawas.

Aside from having dual carriage roads, the highway would also be toll free throughout.
