Kuching Homestays and B&B Accommodations

Kuching Homestays (also called guest houses or holiday homes) are usually privately owned and they are usually best for large groups.

This is due to the fact that home stays are usually privately owned houses, apartment units or guest houses that are rented out by their owners.

Usually, homestays are very much cheaper than most Kuching hotel rooms and they are also larger.  However, in most cases, locations of these homestays are sacrificed as compensation to the cheaper rental charge.

Most homestays require self transportation, or public transportation to get around as they are location deep within housing estates, or sub-urban areas.  That said, it is advisable to get homestays which are apartment based as they tend to be closer to the city.

Below is the list of Kuching homestays:

Another good option for accommodation in Kuching is Bed and Breakfast (B&Bs).  These kind of accommodation are hostel/dormitory like.

B&B’s usuall do not provide the luxury of privacy considering facilities like toilets, showers and cable/satellite TVs are shared with all guest.

B&Bs however are likely to be cheaper compared to other Kuching Hotels, and come in strong when it comes to location.  They usually occupy shop lots but some B&B’s do have their own building.
