Kuching Amphitheatre

The Kuching North City Hall Amphitheatre, or better known as Kuching Amphitheatre, or Pangung Udara in Malay, is a 5 acre public park under the charge of Kuching North City Council (DBKU).

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the land where the amphiteater now sits used to be a golf course before it was converted into what it is today.

On 1st August 1992, this RM4 million Amphiteater was declared open and had been used to host numerous events which include sporting events, outdoor movie screenings, concerts and more.

Today, the Kuching amphiteather remains a popular outdoor open space for events, jogging, exercising and wedding photography.
