Betong Youth Academy to be built at RM30 million

The Sarawak government has allocated RM30 million for the establishment of the Betong Youth Academy.
According to Sarawak Tribune’s report, this academy has been approved by the Betong Division Development Agency (BDDA) and under the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development.
The constuction therefore aims to develop the potential of youths in Sarawak’s central region, especially in entrepreneurship and modern agriculture.
It’s location is strategically located near the Layar fertigation centre, hence being able to offer learning opportunities related to the upcoming Bebuling Agriculture Park.
According to the report, envisioned as a multi-functional training hub, it will serve youths from Betong, Sri Aman, and Sarikei, providing lecture halls, dormitories, and sports facilities.
