The Spring Mall Kuching recently announced that it is closing down and relocating several of its tenant stores as it completes its season of ‘Reshaping Spaces’.

Among the major stores announced to be closed during the renovation and relocation is Pizza Hut, Samsonite, Uniqlo, My Pretzels and Ta Kiong.

Both Uniqlo and Ta Kiong however will operate in a temporary area within the mall during the relocation exercise with other affected tenants only reopening back at their new locations from March 2024 onwards.

In adition, The Spring Mall also announced the opening of Gigi Coffee in their mall this coming March 2024.

According to a short posting by the mall on social media, the relocation exercise is in line with their vision to create enchanting purposeful environment for their guest.

The Spring has been embarking on major changes within the mall in recent month with the management removing the fountain in the middle of the mall and replacing it with an open space.

The space was first used to house the mall’s Christmas market, and later their Chinese New Year Basement bazaar.

Also, there are new and more visable escalators now connecting the second and third floor of the mall, hence making the third floor more accesible to guest as well.

According to a shorts posted by New Sarawak Tribune, the mall would also be adding new ammenities to help guest in the future.
