Two more 1Malaysia Clinics would be built in Sibu with one occupying the the Lanang bridge area, and another being built at Rantau Panjang.
The Lanang Bridge outlet would be the eight 1Malaysia Clinic in Sarawak, while the one in Rantau Panjang would be the ninth.
The 1Malaysia Clinic aims to provide basic healthcare to the community and has been set up in numerous densely populated areas in Sarawak.
The clinic operates during office hours, and is not allowed to issue medical certificates.
