Makan Kitchen recently gave us a preview of their Hilton Kuching Ramadan Buffet, which will be happening in a couple more weeks time.
As a Kuchingite, I am 100% confident that all of us miss the happening Ramadhan scene.
The Ramadan bazaars with their huge range of scrumptious food, the gathering of friends and families during break of fast, and even the busy preparation for Raya.
And as we are entering endemic soon, businesses are coming back to life, not to mention, Ramadhan is a few weeks to go!
With the thought of all these happenings likely to return, the invitation to attend a preview of what Hilton Kuching‘s Makan Kitchen had to offer this Ramadan excited us even more.
What to expect
Hilton Kuching proudly made their first move to mark the return towards ‘normalcy’ by presenting ‘Jelajah Selera’ at its brand new all-day dining outlet, Makan Kitchen.
Happening on 3rd of April – 3rd of May from 6:30pm – 10:00pm, this break-fast tributes to Malaysia’s culinary heritage featuring an extensive celebratory menu of all-time-favourite signature dishes.
Promising guests a gastronomical journey through the diversification of Malaysian foods that is not only limited to Ramadhan favourites like bubur pedas, rojak buah and nasi briyani, but also dishes like Indian Butter Chicken, Mandy Rice with Lamb Shank, and even Crispy Boneless Chicken with Shredded Mango.
Their range of flavourful Asian salads like Jellyfish Umai, Kerabu and even Thai Spicy Grilled Beef Salad accompanies other dishes perfectly.
For those who always look forward to desserts at every meal, fret not cause Jelajah Selera offers not only the classic cheesecakes and chocolate puddings, you also get to savour traditional kueh like those you can find in bazaar namely pulut manis, tapai, bom bijan and even kueh sepit.

Priced from RM 98+ per person, I highly recommend this Ramadhan buffet as it has various delectable choices that would definitely satisfy your palate.
There’s also special discounts for early reservations.
Last interesting fact, these buffet menus are also kept on a daily rotation to give diners a fresh experience every time! What a treat isn’t it!
