Race pack collections have begun for this weekends Kuching Marathon 2022 which will start at Padang Merdeka. The marathon will flag off on Sunday, 2 October 2022.
Those whom had already signed up can collect their race packs at Plaza Merdeka which nearby the race venue.
Photos obtained from the official Facebook show that the lines which are starting to build up in the mall.
Accompanying the race pack collection booths are sponsor booths.
Special lanes for inbound runners
Meanwhile, for those arriving from outside Sarawak, the Sarawak Immigration Department has made it faster for runners to get into Kuching.
This is done by preparing four special lanes for KM runners during their immigration clearance at the Kuching international Airport.
According to the official Facebook page of the marathon, Lane 1 & 2 are for Malaysians, and Lane 11 and 12 are for non-Malaysians.

Number of Kuching Marathon 2022 runners
The coming Kuching Marathon 2022 (KM2022) is expected to host some 8,906 runners from all over the world.
The running event is scheduled on 2 October 2022, and DayakDaily reports that some 5,811 Sarawakian runners will join their 3,095 non-Sarawakians which includes non-Malaysians, in the race.
Organized for the 7th time, the KM2022 will offer the similar four running routes it had previously offered and these routes can be seen in the images taken from their official website below.
