Darul Hana Islamic Park, Kuching

The Darul Hana Islamic Park as a massive RM6.8 million project is developed by the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) in Kuching.

It is inspired by the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Muscat, Oman.

Construction on the park began in 2020, and the first phase was completed in October that same year.

The second phase of the park will see the park full completed by 2021.  The park was officially launched on 27 October 2020 by the Sarawak Head of State, Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE PARK

For now, the park consist of trellis seating, gazebos, water features, car park, LED lighting, CCTV cameras and signboards.

I will share photos of the park once I go there.

HOW TO GO TO DARUL HANA ISLAMIC PARK

The easiest way to go to Islamic Park is by ride hailing services or taxis.  You can also drive there by using the map below.

If you noticed, the map shows the route to Masjid Darul Hana.  This is because the park is located just beside the mosque and should be easy to locate once you arrive in the area.

CONCLUSION

The Darul Hana Islamic Park is still under development and should be completed in 2022.
