Bung Bratak Heritage Centre reopens Aug 15

The popular Bung Bratak Heritage Centre which was closed to members of the public from 24th July 2020 will reopen this coming 15 August.

According to its chairman, Datuk Peter Minos the centre will start receiving visitors from August 15 with standard operating procedure (SOP) under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) also implemented.

“BBHC will start receiving visitors and jungle trekkers from Aug 15 (Saturday), but with standard operating procedure (SOP) under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).” Peter Minos told DayakDaily.

Bung Bratak had previously closed itself to visitors following the spike of Covid-19 cases in Kuching, and had caused the district to be declared a red zone for Covid-19 cases.

However, with Kuching now consistently recording zero local transmissions, most attractions, which include Bung Bratak Heritage Centre, had decided to reopen this 15 August.
