This article will be updated frequently about the Borneo Music Festival Live 2022 will be happening on 9 – 10 September 2022.
According to a report by Borneo Post, the event is supported by Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, and it will be the first-of-its-kind outdoor music festival which features renowned artistes from six countries and uniting different music genres on one platform.

DayakDaily reported some 2,000 tickets have been sold on 10 August 2022.

The line-up of the festival was announced back in July 2022 via the official Facebook of the festival.

Venue and layout
The festival will be held at Sarawak Cultural Village. The layout of the venue was announced on 6 September 2022 as seen below.
Tickets for Borneo Music Festival Live 2022
Tickets for the BMFL2022 are sold in phases.
They start from RM400 for a two day pass. This rate is however only for early birds.
From August 1, tickets were sold from RM450 for the same access, but there was a Merdeka sales discount which saw prices go down to RM385 from 28 – 31 August 2022.

Once the tickets under Phase 1 have been sold out, each ticket will be sold for RM500 for general admission and RM800 for rock zone.
At the door tickets are priced start from RM320 for those at GA and RM480 for Rock Zone areas.
All ticket prices are subject to RM4 processing fee.
Going to BMFL 2022: Bus schedule
You are not encouraged to drive to the venue as it has limited parking space and access to the venue is closed for official cars only.
To enable festival goers to go to the event site, shuttle bus services have been scheduled as seen below from The Hills, and Plaza Merdeka.
For those driving, a shuttle van service will be available to send and pick you up at Santubong Resort junction.
