SK Kampung Jebungan Mukah new blocks to be completed in 2026

Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kampung Jebungan in Mukah is expected to be completed next year.

According to a report by TVS, the new school is slated for October 2026.

Onced operational, it is understood that students and teachers will be relocated to the new school which is located at Jalan Jebungan – Agal.

The project is managed by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak.

The new SK Kampung Jebungan building will feature six blocks for classrooms and administration, a dedicated preschool block, and two blocks of teacher accommodation.

Other facilities located on the new school site include a guard house, a water pump house, a rubbish collection house.

This upgrade promises a vastly improved learning environment, which include modern, state-of-the-art facilities, to the students and teachers of the school

Once completed, the new school is expected to significantly enhance the educational opportunities for children in Kampung Jebungan and the surrounding areas.

About SK Kampung Jebungan

Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jebungan is a national primary school located in Mukah, Sarawak, Malaysia.

The school has a history dating back to August 1950. Over the years, it expanded to include classes up to Primary 6 by 1965, allowing students to take their public examinations at their own school. Kampung Jebungan itself is a village in the Mukah district of Sarawak. It is located near the mouth of the Jebungan River, which is a tributary of the Mukah River.

Kampung Jebungan is a Melanau populated village. The Melanau’s are popular for thier unique umai.
