AirAsia is offering 11,400 fix fares to Sabah and Sarawak for the coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
According to a news report by TheStar, Transport Minister, Antony Loke made the such move will enable thousands to return home this coming Hari Raya.
The minister was also quoted by the daily as saying that the campaign would be the second time the Airline did such campaign after the it launched the same campaign for Chinese New Year in January.
Under the campaign, flights from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru are fixed at RM199 to Sarawak and RM249 to Sabah and the value fares would serve Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri in Sarawak and to Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau in Sabah.
Aside from fixing the price of tickets, AirAsia would also be adding an extra 62 flights to its current arrangements to meet the expected growing demand.
Booking for the fixed fares would is on-going with the travel period set between 19 to 21 April and between 28 to 30 April.
