The UNIFOR Complex which is close to completion at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee would likely start operating in the first quarter of 2025.
According to UKAS which quoted Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, the complex is now 99.37 per cent complete with the unit anticipating the occupation permit (OP) for the building to be issued in September 2024.
UKAS report also mentioned that office renovation works will then commerce to prepare the complex for both UNIFOR and Sarawak UNIFOR Charitable Trust (SUCT).
UNIFOR or Unit for Other Religion, is a dedicated unit in Sarawak under the Premier Office.
It’s main aim is to care and help the growth of non-Muslim and non-Islamic religions in Sarawak.
