The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR Sarawak) has announced that two roads will be closed temporarily during the night from tomorrow, 12 October 2021.
The roads affected are Jalan Amar Kalong Ningkan dan Jalan Tun Jugah to Simpang Tiga roundabout.
It is understood that the closure will be for 23 days.
According to a news article by DayakDaily, the closure of both roads will only be from 8PM to 5AM daily, from tomorrow, 13 October, until 5 November 2021.
The report also said that the closure is to allow heavy machinery to complete works along the affected roads.
JKR was quoted as assuring that both roads will be reopened fully as soon as possible, and seek the public to adhere to traffic signage when they pass through the affected areas.
