The Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2024 dates have been announced by its organizers, the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB).
Based on an article by Borneo Post, the award winning music festival is set to be held from 28-30 June 2024, which is the final weekend of June that year.
According to the same article, the announcement of the dates was made at the end of the final concert of the festival last Sunday.
Official figures for the 2023 edition which just ended have not been released yet, but reports have suggest that they are better than the 2022 edition.
In case you missed it, the three-day event had 199 musicians from 12 countries performing at the Sarawak Cultural Village from 23 – 25 June 2023.
The festival itself also made the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for having ‘Most Percussionists in a Music Festival’ with 2,763 percussionists participating in the record breaking event.
With the dates of the 27th edtion now confirmed, festivalgoers can now plan their trip to Kuching early to ensure they do not miss out on the RWMF 2024.
