The annual Pesta Sematan, or Sematan Festival will be happening this coming August 2023.
This time, the seaside festival will be organized from 11 – 13 August and will involve numerous locations within the Sematan sub-district.
Aside from the festival site which will be located within the Sematan Town itself, venues this time around will also include nearby Kampung Tanah Hitam, and Pantai Abang Amin.
Activities for Pesta Sematan 2023
A lot of activities had been arranged for this year’s festival which include the 140KM Sematan Cyclefest, speed boat competition, 60’s song competition, badminton competition, Silat competition, Archery competition, Chainsaw Art Tournament, Beach volleyball tournament, the people’s sport competition, bikers gathering, and tug of war competition.
There are also numerous competitions for children being organized as well.
