Kuching lowered to yellow zone for Covid-19
Kuching is now seems as a yellow zone for Covid-19 infections.
The Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) made the announcement today.
This is a definite sigh of relief for many as Kuching had been in the red zone for Covid-19 infections for almost a month, since April 2.
Covid-19 infection zones are rated in three distinctive colours with green being those free from infections, and yellow given to areas with infections below 40.
Areas with over 40 confirmed infections will rated as red zones.
On top of the improved colour rating for Kuching, the district also recorded zero infections for yesterday (14 May) and today (15 May).
