Kuching City rated highly compared to others in Malaysia

Kuching City has been rated as being one Malaysia’s “most hospitable” cities by Airbnb.

According to the popular site, this means that Kuching is one of the few cities in Malaysia with the highest percentages of Airbnb listings with 5-star reviews.

Kuching is not alone in getting the label with sister city, Sibu also given the rank by AirBnB.

Aside from Kuching and Sibu, other cities also rated highly for their hospitality are:

  • Kluang, Johor
  • Johor Bahru, Johor
  • Georgetown, Penang
  • Bukit Mertajam, Penang
  • Kuantan, Pahang
  • Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu
  • Melaka, Melaka
  • Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Well, with the Covid-19 pandemic sort of ruining Visit Sarawak 2020, many probably couldn’t enjoy the five star rating for Kuching AirBnB rentals.

However, perhaps its a blessing in disguise for these places as they get to tidy up their properties even more and probably help Kuching earn even more great ratings in the future.
