Empat ‘flyover’ akan dibina di Kuching

Sebanyak empat ‘flyover’ akan dibina di kawasan Kuching mulai tahun ini. 

Berita tersebut diumumkan oleh Lo Khere Chiang, pengerusi Majlis Perbandaran Padawan. 

Menurut Lo, empat kawasan telah dikenalpasti untuk projek flyover tersebut, yakni persimpangan di Batu 4, Batu 6 (Kuching Sentral), Batu 7 (Kota Sentosa), Batu 9 (Kem tentera Penrissen). 

Adalah difahamkan kajian berkenaan pembinaan flyover tersebut telah dilaksanakan, dan ini termasuk juga kajian berkenaan tanah di kawasan tersebut. 

Kesemua empat ‘flyover’ tersebut adalah juga termasuk di dalam perancangan Lebuh Raya Borneo yang kini sedang dalam pembinaan. 

Dalam pada itu, pembinaan empat flyover tersebut dilihat bertepatan ekoran keempat-empat kawasan tersebut sememangnya sering menghadapi masalah kesesakan lalulintas yang teruk.
