Hollywood action star Steven Seagal has arrived in Kuching today. He is in town to make a special appearance at the Asean International Film Festival and Awards (Aiffa) 2019.
He arrived at the Kuching International Airport at 2:15PM and was greeted by AIFFA officials at the airport.
According to a report by New Sarawak Tribune, Seagal is scheduled to meet fans at the Old Court House on Saturday, the 27th of April at 3PM.
The next day, Sunday (April 28) he will visit Siniawan at 10AM. While there, he will be visiting the Swee Guk Kung Temple, Siniawan Heritage Town Street and the Buddhist Village.
Aside from acting, the veteran actor is also a producer, screenwriter, martial artist, and musician who holds American, Serbian, and Russian citizenship.
He became a household name after starring in action films such as 1988’s ‘Above the Law’ and 1992’s ‘Under Siege’.
AIFFA will begin tomorrow (25 April) and end with the awards ceremony on 27 April.
The festival is in it’s fourth year and it brings together filmmakers and movie stars from the Asean region to Kuching on a yearly basis since 2013.
