The Unit For Other Religions (UNIFOR) Complex is almost close to completion.
According to UKAS, the complex, built at a cost of RM80 million at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee is currently 96.38 per cent completed.
UKAS quoted Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas as saying that the project is highly significant and meaningful as it reflects the government’s inclusive policy.
Douglas was also quoted as saying that the project is 0.33 per cent behind scedule but he remains confident it will be completed before September.
Aside from that, UKAS also reported that the UNIFOR Complex is expected to be used beginning next year.
Construction of the complex began with RM70million in July 2022.
