The biggest country music festival in Kuching, the Siniawan Country Music Festival (SCMF) is set to return this October 2023.
The festival which is held in Siniawan town will be held on 6-7 October 2023.
This will be the 6th edition of the festival since it started.
Based on the announcement on thier Facebook page, the performers for this years festival will be local bands namely Skinning Project Band, Country Road Band., D’Wranglers, Hi-Breed Band, Mountain Wind Band, OnStrings, Peter Engkassan, our old friends Raggy Singh and the ‘Alabama’ of Malaysia OS Pombos Band.
According to DayakDaily’s report, this year’s edition will not feature any international artist due to the delayed Siniawan Waterfront project.
Aside from live country music perfromances, this 2-days levent will be complemented by a beer garden, photo booths and various stalls selling varieties of food and beverage on a historical old street.
The Siniawan Country Music Festival 2023 is supported by the Sarawak government and endorsed by the Sarawak Tourism Board.
