Kuching will get an additional seven Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flights from Kuala Lumpur to cater for the expected rush to the city centre this Chinese New year.
According to a news report by Borneo Post, the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has approved the flights.
This means MAS flights to Kuching will likely see a reduction in price since there are more options to choose from with the additional number of flights.
Additionally, the Kuching – Penang route will also see an increase of flights with Firefly adding three more flights.
Firefly is a subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) which also operates Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB).
