St. Joseph’s Private Schools will host “Rhythm and Colour: Wonder – Seeking Truth, Goodness and Beauty,” concert this coming August 2025.
The a biennial variety concert will be performed at Dewan Majma Kuching on on August 2-3. This is a bigger venue compared to the previous concert which was highly successful.
Partnering with the Sarawak Arts Council under the MySeni scheme, the concert aims to promote and nurture local arts and culture.
Rhythm and Colour 2025 will showcase diverse talents from students across St. Joseph’s Private Primary School, St. Joseph’s Private Secondary School, and St. Joseph’s International School, fostering community spirit and teamwork.
Sarawak Tribune reported Creative director Benedict Lo as saying that the theme’s butterfly motif symbolizes wonder, inspiring reflections on truth, goodness, and beauty through performing arts.
The event features award-winning choirs, concert bands, Chinese orchestras, string ensembles, and dance troupes.
Proceeds from tickets, priced at RM50, RM80, and RM120, will support the school’s building fund for new music and dance studios.
