The Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), the organiser of Sarawak’s iconic event Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF), organized a special event on Friday to expressed their appreciation to the RWMF 2023 sponsors and supporters.
Held at the Raia Hotel and Convention Centre, the event was graced by the Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts YB Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, along with the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak Datu Sherrina Hussaini and Sarawak Tourism Board’s Chief Executive Officer Puan Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor.
During the event Abdul Karim thanked the partners and supporters for their contributions to the festival, adding that their contributions will help in fulfilling STB’s vision of bringing the world together in Sarawak through music.
Leading the list of supporters and sponsors is Malaysia Airlines, which comes in as the RWMF 2023 Official Airlines, and AirAsia Ride which comes in as the official e-hailing ride.
Coverage of the event is expected to be extensive with TV Sarawak also a Gold Sponsor, while beverages at the festival are expected to feature both Pepsi and Carlsberg prominently.
Interestingly, the list of sponsors and supporters will also feature two malls this time around, namely Kuching based Plaza Merdeka, and Kuala Lumpur’s Midvalley Megamall.

The RWMF 2023 is set to happen this 23rd to 25th June 2023 at the Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) with the theme ‘Reflections’.
