RM148 Nett: Everything You Can Eat at Hilton Kuching’s Grand Ballroom Ramadan buffet
If the Inspirasi Xi’an Hilton Kuching buffet is too pricey for you, then maybe you would want to consider their more ‘price friendly’ Hilton Kuching’s Grand Ballroom Ramadan buffet themed “Meriahnya Ramadan, Diraikan Bersama” at the Grand Ballroom.
According to the Hilton Kuching, this year’s feast pays tribute to traditional Malay gastronomy, offering a lavish spread inspired by classic flavors, spices, and ingredients.
Among the dishes available, but are not limited to, are Kambing Goyang, Bakes Whole Salmon Fillet with Asian Spices, Butter Prawns, Crispy Chicken with Shredded Mango, Ayam Percik, Mee Rebus Kambing Johor, Laksa Sarawak, Roti John Leleh, Steam-Baked New Zealand Spiced Whole Lamb Kabsah, Japanese Sushi Platter, and Seafood on Ice.
For desserts there was Baskin Robbins Ice Cream, Air Batu Campur, and numerous types of Air Balang, making the spread pretty generous.

Personal favourites
I spent about two hours trying out as many dishes that was presented and my favourite would be the Sarawak Laksa.
I know, that sounds lame, but their Sarawak Laksa was really on point being very savory, slightly creamy and tangy, with a slight ‘kick’ to every sip of the broth.
My only complain about this dish was that it was served in a tiny soup bowl, and the queue to get seconds was always long.
Another dish I favoured was the Local Springrolls. The sauce was thick and sweet, while the springroll was crunchy to every bite.
Also favoured was the Steam-Baked New Zealand Spiced Whole Lamb Kabsah which had this deep, savory, and slightly tangy flavor. It’s suppose to go well with yogurt, but I still prefer mine with Sarawak black pepper sauce.
