The Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Park, Kuching is located just beside Pustaka Sarawak, which is the state library of Sarawak.
Being one of the biggest public parks in Petra Jaya, the park is very popular among locals and has been used to host numerous public events in the past.
What to expect at the park
The park features a large man made lake in the centre, with jogging tracks well planned and sealed around the park.
Aside from jogging tracks, there’s also fountains, gazebos, a maze garden, and a large open area which is usually used for activities like Zumba or aerobics.
Recently, the authorities also added playgrounds within the park’s compound as well.
Also don’t be surprised to see wedding photography taking place in the park as it is a very popular spot among the locals.

How to go to Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Park
The park is visible from the main road and is hard to miss.
However, if you are staying at hotels in the Kuching City Centre, you will need to hire public rides from Grab, Maxim or AirAsia to get there. These services are however easy to get as Pustaka Sarawak itself is a popular destination.
Nonetheless, driving to the park is much encouraged but parking within the library compound is limited. There’s parking sports nearby the park as well.
