Places to use your eMADANI money in Kuching

Details on where you can spend your eMADANI in Kuching

Many eligible Malaysians, particularly in Kuching, mmay be wondering where they can spend their RM100 obtained through the eMADANI programme.

Through this post, I try to help guide you to locations and merchants in Kuching that I’ve known to accept  eMadani as not all merchants and sellers accept the RM100 eMADANI cash which has been creditted to selected eWallet services.

What is eMADANI?

The eMADANI Programme is a government innitiative to encourage the use of cashless transactions while helping the rakyat as well as Small Medium Enterprices (SME) earn more.

According to the government, some 10 million Malaysians will benefit from this programme which offers RM100 in eWallet credit to eligible Malaysians.

How to apply for eMADANI

To apply for eMADANI, you must fulfill the conditions below.

  • A Malaysian 21 above years old,
  • A receiver of Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) based on  7 November 2023 records, OR had filed your tax returns before July 2023, and earn below RM100,000.
  • You must not be a recepient of eBeliaRahmah.

Redemption can be done via selected eWallets listed below.

Eligible Malaysian can apply for the eWallet cash from 8AM, 4 December 2023  until 11.59PM, 20 February 2024.

The money can only be used until 11.59 malam, 29 February 2024.

Where can you spend your eMADANI in Kuching

In Kuching, finding merchants which receive eMADANI isn’t exactly that hard, but some retailers are a bit specific about which eWallet you can use to use the eMADANI credit.

Also, if they accept the national DuitNowQR code, it is likely that the merchant or shop accepts eMADANI as well.
