MBKS likely to organize Kuching Festival 2022

Kuching Festival will likely return this 2022 with news on the festival already making waves among locals.

After being cancelled for two years due to the strict Standard Operating Procedures for Covid-19, the popular Kuching Festival is likely set to be organized again this year with many looking forward to its food fair in particular.

A report by DayakDaily said that the festival might be stretched by a week longer this year.

If true, the festival will be organized for almost a month if compared to previous years which saw the festival last for about three weeks.

The DayakDaily article quoted Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng as saying that the longer festival will help to reduce overcrowding during the festival, but such decision has not been finalized.
