Events in Kuching continue to line-up as the Kuching Festival Folk Dance was announced for 2023.
It will be happening on August 6th, 2023 and will be the festival’s 9th edition.
According to a report by the Borneo Post, the event will be making a comeback after being postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Kuching Festival Folk Dance 2023 will have 645 participants showcasing various costumes with the event being held at the Sarawak Hockey Stadium.
The number comes from 26 local teams and 11 teams invited from Lawas, Miri, Kelantan, Sabah, Bintulu, Sibu, and Sri Aman.
The performance two hours performances will start at 8PM.
DayakDaily also reported that the event will also have a series of activities being held during the two hours which include instructors to guide participants and members of the public.
