Darul Hana Musical Fountain to restart operation from 18 July

The popular Darul Hana Musical Fountain at the Kuching Waterfront will restart its operation this 18 July 2020.

This comes after the services of the musical fountain were suspended due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Kuching since March 2020.

According to the statement by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) had finalized the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the reopening of the fountain.

Costing RM33.5 million, the Darul Hana Musical Fountain jets water up to 25m high on a 100m-wide floating pontoon.

During its show, the fountain can shoot water up-to 9m high and 80m wide, with the show itself being popular among tourist and locals.
