Bidayuh Cultural Village (BCV) to be declared open this weekend
The Bidayuh Cultural Village or BCV will be declared open this weekend.
Association of Research and Development Movement of Singai Sarawak (REDEEMS) will be hosting their 25th anniversary celebration this weekend, with the opening of the Bidayuh Cultural Village, or BCV taking centre stage of the celebrations.
In an article by New Sarawak Tribune, the event will be themed “Ra’an, Sua, Rami”.
It will be divided into a three-part event which will be held at REDEEMS centre in Singai here from January 13 to 15.
The opening of the BCV will be held on the 14th with the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg gracing it on January 14 at 8PM.
According to Borneo Post, the celebration will also include Gawai Bani REDEEMS (house-warming celebration), the official opening of its Bidayuh Cultural Village (BCV), and the launch of a ‘25th Redeems Anniversary’ book.
It is expected some 5,000 visitors will go the three-day event which will also feature exhibitions, live performances, sale of food and handicraft, and a beauty contest.
