50% discount on Sarawak hotels, prices start from RM35/night

Inter-district travel is now allowed in Sarawak and it’s perfect timing for those seeking to explore Sarawak more because Sarawak is also offering 50% discount on Sarawak hotels under its “Sia Sitok Sarawak Accommodation” (SSSA) programme.

The SSSA campaign is a joint collaboration between STB and Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Sarawak Chapter

The programme, launched by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), is an extension of the widely popular Sia Sitok brand which was aimed to support the accommodation sector during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Deals in Sia Sitok Sarawak Accommodation

Under the SSSA, 50% discount on accommodation will be offered at selected hotels, resorts and accommodations across Sarawak which are part of MAH Sarawak Chapter.

This SSSA offer is exclusively for Sarawakians and residents for now as STB and MAH Sarawak Chapter tries to further improve local tourism during the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to STB, there’s 33 hotels and resorts under the SSSA campaign and these properties will allow bookings from now until 30th November 2021.

My checks on the prices of a nights stay reveal that they start from RM35 up to RM222.50 with properties available in most divisions except Serian, Samarahan, Mukah, Betong, Sarikei and Kapit.

Among the major hotels listed under the SSSA promotion are Roxy Hotel Kuching, The Waterfront Hotel Kuching, Grand Margherita Hotel and Damai Beach Resort in Kuching, Imperial Hotels in both Miri and Kuching, Miri Marriott Resort & Spa and Tanahmas Hotel.

Where to book you 50% discount on Sarawak hotels

If you are interested to make a booking, it can be done immediately until 30 October 2021.

Booking for the SSSA can however only be done via the official website at www.hotelsarawak.com.my.

Personally, the deals are pretty good, so if you are free, do grab them.

Other than that, don’t forget to follow KuchingBorneo.info on Telegram.
