27 storey Langit Citadines Hotel-condo project announced

Hotel set to be major landmark once completed

A new hotel-condo building, known as Langit Citadines Kuching, will soon rise from the ground in Kuching with Hock Seng Lee’s (HSL) property divisions, Neat Plan, and Singapore’s The Ascott Limited (Ascott) announced as the company behind the new bilding.

A press statement sent to us said that the building will consist of two 27-storey towers with Tower One having 64 luxury condos by HSL, while Tower Two being spared for 213 Citadines hotel rooms.

This will be the second Citadines hotel in Kuching after the opening of Citadines Uplands near The Spring mall in Simpang Tiga.

The statement further said that a pair of clubhouse floors will connect the towers at levels 10 and 18 with one clubhouse dedicated to the condo owners, and another reserved for hotel guest. These clubhouses will have infinity pools that offer views of both Kuching North and Kuching South.

Such feature will be welcomed by guest and owners of the condominiums at Langit Citadines as there isn’t a hotel in Kuching which offers both Kuching North and Kuching South aeriel view to date.

The building is the latest with green building standards with the hotel itself offering studio, one- and two-bedroom units. Below are some images of the hotel-condo taken from the site’s official website.

Langit Citadines Hotel highlight

A grand staircase from the ground floor which is nicknamed ‘the Cat Walk’ will anchors the two towers together and form the highlight of Langit Citadines.

Construction of Langit Citadines is expected to start this year, with the hotel-condo expected to be ready by 2027.

The design of the hotel was chosen from a winning entry of HSL’s architectural competition in 2021 which saw 112 global entries participating.  HSL said that such competition is the first of its kind in Sarawak.
