Malaysian globally known artist, Yuna completes the Borneo Sonic Music Festival 2024 performer line-up.
According to the festival’s brief post on social media, Yuna is the final addition to the already star studded line-up of the massive festival.
Yuna’s inclusion to the festival’s performer list doesn’t come as surprise as the festival did give hints of her participation last month, although kept her confirmed attendence until this recent announcement.
Yuna is no stranger to the music scene as she since her “Crush” collaboration Usher. She has since had her songs used in various movies and TV series such as Grey’s Anatomy, Alladin, Arrow, The Croods and many more.
Borneo Sonic Music Festival confirmed that Yuna will be performing on the second day of the festival, which is the 12 October 2024.
This means Yuna will share the stage with Jessi, DOLLA, DJ Blink, Jess Lee, Judika, SlumberJack and Zed.X.
Yuna was supposed to hold her Asia Tour Concert in Kuching last year, but it was posponed until further notice.
The international singer last performed in Kuching in 2012, making it 12 years since she had performed in Kuching.
The Borneo Sonic Music Festival is the biggest concert in Borneo, and it is held in the newly improved Sarawak Stadium.
Last year, the event was highly priased for its awesome sound system and had of the largest attendees for a paying concert in Borneo-Malaysia, hitting over 30,000 fans in two days.
This year, a lot more improvements had been done with the festival organizers introducing a run, glamping sites as well as a food fair to the festival, taking over almost the whole of the Sarawak Stadium area.
