The Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival launch yesterday also unveiled several additions to the festival.

One of the additions would be the Jazz Band Search which will be held on the 28th July 2018 at the Godown Amphitheater (Kuching Waterfront).  The winner of the competition will be the opening act at the KWJF2018. Applications are soon available and further announcements of the competition will be posted on KWJF2018’s Facebook page.

Workshops would also be introduced during the afternoons on the festival day itself, hence elevating the experience at the festival.

This Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival is organised by Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) through its operating unit, Grand Margherita Hotel, and is managed by Place Borneo Sdn Bhd. The event is fully supported by the State’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth & Sports as well as related tourism agency such as Sarawak Tourism Board.
