The much talked about Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) of Kuching will have it’s proof-of-concept in 2023.
According to a report by DayakDaily, the proof-of-concept will be ready in the third quarter of 2023. This means it should be ready by the July to October 2023.
Once revealed, the proof-of-concept will give an insight and preview of what to expect from the massive project which has had mixed reactions so far.
This year alone, the owners of the Kuching ART Project, Sarawak Metro, had announced three contracts were awarded related to the ART building.
What is proof-of-concept?
According to TechTarget, proof-of-concept or POC in short, is “an exercise in which work is focused on determining whether an idea can be turned into a reality.
It is therefore meant to determine the feasibility of the idea, or in other words is a way to verify that the idea will function as envisioned.”
In the case of the Sarawak ART project, it will be used to show if the ART will be as it is hyped about all this while.
That said, the proof-of-concept for the Kuching ART is something very important not only to the builders and manufacturers, but also to those who have been promoting.
