B7 Bio-Diesel to be introduced in East Malaysia

A total of 366 petrol kiosks in East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan) will start selling B7 biodiesel by end of this month.

B7 Biodesel is a blend of 7% palm biodiesel and 93% petroleum diesel which can be used in most diesel engines, especially newer diesel engines.

B7 Biodiesel contributes significantly less air pollutants and greenhouse gases other than nitrogen oxides.

It is safer to handle and has virtually the same energy efficiency as petroleum diesel apart from its lubricity benefits that fossil fuels do not have.
