WHAT TYPE OF ADVERT CAN YOU PUBLISH?

Generally, there is two types of adverts we can carry as listed below.

A) GRAPHIC & VIDEO ADVERTS

• Graphic images/videos placed on the site/social media for readers to see. Usually comes with some basic description to give context.

B) ARTICLE WRITING ADVERTORIAL

• Article writing advertorial comes in a full length article with no less than 300 words and at least 4 photos. It is usually done for the website KuchingBorneo.info, with SEO practises also included to ensure the article is read by the targetted audiences.
• Article writing advertorial can also be done for our social media platforms but there is a need to observe respective social media platforms text limitations accordingly.

NOTE ABOUT PRODUCT/EVENT REVIEW/COVERAGE

We do accept and participate in product reviews.  Product reviews will be made into blog post and shared on our social media account.  We reserve to write honest opinions on the product, which include giving ratings on what product was given to us.  The client is responsible to arrange and pay in full, the delivery of products needed for review. To deter scammers, we will not make any advance payments of any kind for product reviews.

Similarly, we do also accept invites to events, as well as food reviews. However, paid reviews are guaranteed a write-up and review by KuchingBorneo’s crew. We will also post about the event/service on our social media pages if the service/event is paid for.

It is however important to note that due to staff limitation, we may also decline paid or free offers due to personal commitments unless the offer is too good to refuse. We would also like to be clear that despite being paid, we reserve the right to be honest in our reviews of services/event experience. 

Do note that on-the-ground coverage or review does incur cost and takes up time, and these will be factored into when we are considering your offer.
